Outdoor and Adventurous Activities

As part of our Physical Education curriculum, pupils get the opportunity to take part in a variety of outdoor adventurous activities.  Some of these such as den building, fire lighting and bushcraft activities take place on school grounds within our forest school.

Other activities however cannot be provided on the school site.  We therefore take the pupils to a range of outdoot activity centres where they can participate in different specialised activities requiring specialised resources or areas.

Year 2 - Attend Beeston Outdoor Education Centre and take part in wide range orienteering, shelter building and fire lighting activities.

Year 4 - Attend Petty Pool Outdoor Education Centre and take part in high ropes, archery, zip wire, climbing and abseiling.

Year 6 - Attend Robinwood and take part in canoeing, crate stacking, climbing, abseiling, high ropes, low ropes, orienteering, archery, caving, giant swing, piranha pool, team challenge, trapeze, zip wire and raft building.
