World Maths Day

We completed lots of exciting outdoor maths activities in celebration of World Maths Day.

Nursery children went on a hunt for circles.

Reception children made 2D shapes using string.

Year 1 completed a treasure hunt for maths questions which they then had to answer.

Year 2 searched for numbers in the environment.

Year 3 used chalk to represent data that they collected.

Year 4 were very active playing lots of games relating to multiples.

Year 5 measured sticks to the nearest millimetre and order them. Afterwards, we used our sticks to make 2D and 3D shapes.

Year 6 went of a leaf hunt. They measured them to the nearest millimetre and rounded them to the nearest whole number.
