Wider Curriculum

Alongside our statutory curriculum, at Scholar Green we are proud to offer a rich and varied wider curriculum that supports the personal development of every child. We believe that education is about far more than academic achievement and aim to provide children with a wide range of experiences and opportunities that help them to grow into confident, respectful and well-rounded individuals. Through educational visits, visitors, clubs, leadership opportunities, themed days, sporting events and enrichment activities, pupils are encouraged to develop important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, independence and communication. Our wider curriculum helps children to discover new interests and talents, broaden their understanding of the world around them and develop the confidence to succeed both in school and beyond.
