Geography

At Scholar Green, our geography curriculum is designed to spark curiosity about the world and help children develop a deep understanding of places, people and environments both locally and globally. We encourage pupils to ask questions, explore geographical concepts and make meaningful connections between human and physical processes that shape our world. Fieldwork is an essential part of our geography curriculum, providing children with valuable hands-on experiences to observe, investigate and record the world around them in real-life contexts. We are proud to have achieved the Geography Quality Mark Gold accreditation, which recognises the exceptional quality of our geography provision. This award reflects our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring pupils develop strong geographical knowledge, enquiry skills and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
