Computing
At Scholar Green, our Computing curriculum is designed to equip children with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Pupils take part in discreet computing lessons where they learn key skills such as coding, digital literacy, online safety and problem-solving, while also applying their computing knowledge across the wider curriculum to enhance and deepen their learning in other subjects. We are committed to using technology to support and include all learners, ensuring that adaptations can be made within the curriculum to meet individual needs. Our digital technology library provides a range of accessible resources, including reader pens, laptops, Kindles and speech-to-text headphones, which children can access when required to support their learning and independence. Through this approach, we aim to ensure that all pupils can fully engage, achieve and succeed, while developing the digital skills they need for the future.
