Year 5 - Miss Worthington 2026 - 2027
Miss Worthington
Welcome to Year 5!
We are a class of 27 enthusiastic learners, who enjoy working together, challenging ourselves and, of course, having lots of fun along the way! Keep an eye on our school Facebook page for regular updates and a glimpse into all the exciting learning taking place in our classroom.
Homework and PE
Homework will continue as usual, being sent home every Thursday and due back by the following Tuesday at the latest.
Our PE days are Thursday and Friday, so please ensure your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on these days.
Reading and Spelling
In Year 5, we place a strong emphasis on developing reading and spelling skills. Children are expected to read at least four times a week for atleast 20 minutes and access Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) regularly to build their confidence and fluency in maths.
